The Beginning of Love

A familiar scent passes by him,
As she, in the pandal, lights up the glim.
He walks in the direction of the scent
Absent-mindedly, checking his phone,
He collides with a young girl, who is about to fall as an impact,
So, he holds, the origin of that mesmerising scent.
He looks into those almond eyes,
Sparkling, as light falls on them.
They hold their gaze, for good half a minute,
Then they let go, not understanding the feeling that emanates from their hearts.
As they part opposite ways, he sees her from a distance,
Talking and laughing with her friends.
There’s an aura around her, that he feels strongly attracted to,
Her beautiful smile is more dazzling than all the lights in the pandal combined.
As she turns back to bring something from the wings in the left,
She slips on her heels,
And he rushes, just in time, to stop her from falling,
And yet again, he holds the perfect her,
In a muscular embrace in his arms.
